Charles Betancourt, Asset Manager

Charles Betancourt joined GPX Realty Partners L.P.in 2008 to lead leasing and asset management efforts for the commercial office properties.

Prior to joining GPX, Mr. Betancourt served as the General Manager of Starco Properties, a real estate investment subsidiary of the Army and Air Force Mutual Aid Association, a Northern Virginia based life insurance company. As General Manager, Mr. Betancourt was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company, including property management, leasing, development, acquisitions and dispositions. During his tenure, the company nearly doubled in size and tripled in market value. In December of 2006 Starco Properties sold its real estate assets to Normandy Realty Partners of Morristown New Jersey for a significant profit.

A graduate of Colgate University and the Carey Business School of Johns Hopkins University, Mr. Betancourt resides with his wife in Merion Station, Pennsylvania.
